Meet Our Doctors

Ryan Horn, DDS

Dr. Horn received his doc­tor­ate of den­tal surgery from Uni­ver­sity of South­ern Cal­i­for­nia with hon­ors, com­pleted a post­grad­u­ate res­i­dency in hos­pi­tal den­tistry at Vet­er­ans Affairs Med­ical Cen­ter, Port­land, OR, and com­pleted his post­grad­u­ate train­ing in peri­odon­tics at the Ore­gon Health and Sci­ence Uni­ver­sity. Dr. Horn held a posi­tion at the Uni­ver­sity of the Pacific School of Den­tistry, where he taught peri­odon­tal surgery. He is a diplo­mate of the Amer­i­can Board of Peri­odon­tol­ogy and serves as a board mem­ber for the Berke­ley Den­tal Society.

Barron Hong, DMD, MS

Dr. Hong received his doc­tor­ate of den­tal med­i­cine from Har­vard School of Den­tal Med­i­cine. He com­pleted his post­grad­u­ate train­ing in peri­odon­tics and received a master’s degree in oral and cran­io­fa­cial sci­ences at the University of Cal­i­for­nia, San Francisco. Dr. Hong has lec­tured on var­i­ous peri­odon­tal top­ics through­out Cal­i­for­nia and has served as a board mem­ber of local den­tal societies. He is a diplo­mate of the Amer­i­can Board of Periodontology.

Meetu Moody, DDS

Dr. Moody received her doc­tor­ate of den­tal surgery from Uni­ver­sity of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Den­tistry. She com­pleted a post­grad­u­ate res­i­dency pro­gram in Advanced Edu­ca­tion in Gen­eral Den­tistry at Uni­ver­sity of Cal­i­for­nia, Los Ange­les and then worked as a gen­eral den­tist. She com­pleted her post­grad­u­ate train­ing in peri­odon­tics at Louisiana State Uni­ver­sity (LSU), School of Den­tistry. Dr. Moody held a teach­ing posi­tion at LSU while prac­tic­ing peri­odon­tics and den­tal implants. Dr. Moody is a diplo­mate of the Amer­i­can Board of Periodontology.

Anand Maharathi, DMD

Dr. Maharathi was raised locally and received his A.B. from U.C. Berkeley. He received his doctorate of dental medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and his periodontal training was completed at the Oregon Health and Science University. He is also a certified provider of periodontal endoscopy (definitive, non-surgical gum treatment). Dr. Maharathi previously held a position at the University of the Pacific where he taught periodontal surgery.
